Having a drink with a beautiful view is one of the greatest joys in life. Though beautiful views may be hard to come by, creating one within the cup is less challenging. These Mt. Fuji sake cups are one such feature. Light from the contents of the cup is refracted with the glimmer of gold foil to recreate the magnificence of Mt. Fuji. The cups were made by a skilled glassmaker, who added gold foil in the blowing process. The cups were made by Toyo Sasaki Glass, one of the leading glass manufacturers in Japan.
