"Plum Estate, Kameido" is a well-known artwork by renowned Ukiyo-e painter, Utagawa Hiroshige, in the Edo period. The painting focuses on a plum tree in the Kameido. The tree was located in a popular location at the time, and writers and poets loved going there in the spring to appreciate the foliage and flowers. Hiroshige created a collection of print works called the "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo." "Plum Estate, Kameido" was one of the works in the collection. The novel composition of this print heavily influenced western impressionism. Van Gogh is said to have been inspired by this piece. Plum is the city tree of Narita.
