This bronze-toned commemorative coin intricately presents the symbolic elements of the City of Glendale seal. At the center, a peacock commemorates the city’s victory in the 1924 Tournament of Roses Parade. The upper left depicts City Hall, while the upper right features the California grizzly bear. The lower right shows Casa Adobe de San Rafael, a historic landmark within the city, and the lower left represents Glendale’s municipally owned water and power services. Along the bottom edge, the coin records the city’s official incorporation in 1906.
