The coast of Florida is home to several dolphin species, the most common of which is the bottlenose dolphin. The famous rescue dolphin, Winter, can be seen in the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Florida. Winter's tail was amputated after being entangled in a fishing net. With the collective effort of many people, Winter was fitted with a prosthetic tail. The story was so inspirational that it was adapted into a movie in 2011.
