Shodoshima is an artistic island in Kagawa Prefecture. The hanging ornament in the picture is a product of the island. There is an interesting story to this particular hanging ornament. In 2017, Mayor Cheng visited Shodoshima and planted an olive tree there. As a show of gratitude and a symbol of friendship between Taoyuan and Kagawa, Mayor Yukio Shiota of Shodoshima gifted a hanging ornament to Mayor Cheng.
