When Michal Čiliak, the creator of the pen in the picture, was in his middle age, he decisively left his position as a high-ranking executive in a company and pursued his passion for wood design. The first wooden fountain pen he ever designed was dedicated to his beloved wife. This pen alone took him half a year to design. Today, the wooden fountain pen has become the signature product of his wooden boutique brand. The manufacturing process of the wooden fountain pen is quite complicated. Special pure resin is applied to the dry vine wood, and after casting, it is placed in a pressure tank to slowly push the bubbles up to the surface of the resin. Once the resin dries and hardens, it becomes bright and colorful, like the pen in the picture.
