Tokyo is a popular tourist destination for visitors to Japan. Therefore, Narita City in the Chiba Prefecture, home to Narita International Airport, has become an essential first stop for visitors entering Japan. In 2010, Narita City unveiled its mascot, Unarikun, an eel-airplane hybrid character.
