The Arrowhead is a famous landmark in San Bernardino County. Legend has it that the native people left the arrowhead on the side of the mountain to mark the location of a hot spring, which they discovered to benefit human health. In 2014, the San Bernardino County government introduced a new coat of arms. The new design continued the use of the arrowhead.
