Do you know what onsen ducks love to do most? You guessed it. They love onsens! Then do you know what they always say? The answer is... nothing. Crows can't talk, silly. In Japanese mythology, Onsen crows derive from the "Yatagarasu," a three-legged crow. According to legend, a high monk once witnessed a severely injured Yatagarasu that fully recovered after soaking in a Yamashiro onsen. Setting the credibility of the myth of the Yatagarasu aside, we can at least be sure that the mineral-rich hot springs of Yamashiro and their therapeutic properties will have you relaxing in a Yamashiro onsen like an onsen crow!
