This Matsukawa Daruma is a unique variation from the Sendai/Miyagi region. Unlike the more common red daruma, it is painted in a deep cobalt blue, representing the sea and sky—symbols of vastness, stability, and abundance. On its abdomen are depicted the Seven Lucky Gods, invoking blessings of prosperity in business and peace at home.
