The logo of the University of Guam features the capital letter "G," which appears on both the university's merchandise and official documents. The "G" is designed differently from a typical capital "G," with the tail end intentionally drawn as a traditional fishhook, reflecting the sustainable spirit of coexistence and mutual prosperity between the Pacific islands and the ocean. The "G" is white and dark green, known as Trident Green. It pays tribute to the Greek god Triton, son of Poseidon, god of the sea.
