Höchster Porzellan-Manufaktur — Goethe Dream Plate

Höchster Porzellan-Manufaktur is one of the three great historical porcelain brands in Europe. The brand also has a surprisingly deep connection with Taiwan. Evan Chung, who was born into the traditional metalworking industry in Lukang, Taiwan, acquired the German national treasure in 2018. Additionally, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, one of the most well-known German figures in Taiwan, happened to be a close friend of the master craftsman of Höchster Porzellan-Manufaktur. For nearly three centuries, the brand has been heavily influenced by Goethe's naturalistic ideologies. The plate in the picture is imprinted with Goethe's inspiring quote for young people, " Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it."
