The Netherlands is a cycling paradise, and the city of Utrecht is home to the world’s largest bicycle parking station. The parking station has an astonishing 12,000 parking spaces in a single space. Utrecht was poised to be the starting point of the 2020 Vuelta a España. It previously served as a stop on the 2010 Giro d’Italia and the 2015 Tour de France, and would have become the first city in the world to host stages in cycling’s three grand tours if COVID-19 hadn’t forced the race to be rescheduled. The cycling jersey in the photo was used by Dutch cyclists in the Vuelta a España.
