Humans are naturally attracted to beauty. This is particularly true in Africa. This sculture presents the aesthetics of an African woman. Traditional African clothing are "draped" rather than "worn." In other words, pieces of cloth are wrapped like a shawl around the upper body and like a dress at the waist. The head is typically accessories with a similar cloth. African women love bright colors and bold patterns. Bright red, emerald green, and indigo are often used for clothing.
