This plaque was presented by the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (SIDEC) of Malaysia. SIDEC, affiliated with the State Legislative Assembly's Standing Committee on Trade and Investment, is a subsidiary of Invest Selangor Berhad. Its mission is to drive Selangor to become the digital hub of Southeast Asia.

Main Industries/Features: The commercial, industrial, and service industries are Selangor's main economic activities. Imported vehicles, including those from Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, BMW, Porsche, and Volvo, are assembled in Selangor. Selangor accounted for 25.5 percent of Malaysia's GDP in 2022. Selangor is Malaysia's most developed state, and has good infrastructure such as highways and transport. It is also Malaysia's most populous state. The standard of living is high, and it has the lowest poverty rate in the country.
