The non-profit European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan (ECCT) was established in Taiwan some three decades ago. Today, it is the largest foreign business association in Taiwan. The ECCT is not only concerned about the interests of European businesses in Taiwan but also pays long-term attention to the development trends in a variety of major areas, including energy transformation, democratic resilience, labor welfare, and technological innovation. As such, it actively engages with various levels of Taiwan's government and non-governmental organizations to seek cooperation and open channels of communication. It also actively facilitates opportunities for Taiwan to engage in dialogue with major European companies and offices.
